The Simple Bamboo Bathroom Tray I've Used Every Day for Over a Year
When Michael and I first started updating our bathroom, I wasn't looking for anything fancy.
I just wanted the space to feel a little calmer and more intentional.
After purchasing a bamboo bathroom shelf that I loved, I found myself slowly adding more natural materials throughout the room. Before long, our bathroom had become a bit of a bamboo-themed space, and honestly, I still love the look.
One of the simplest additions was this bamboo tray from VITVITI.
At the time, our apartment already had a towel bar mounted above the toilet. I wanted somewhere to keep extra toilet paper, wipes, and bathroom spray without drilling more holes in the wall or adding a bulky storage unit.
This tray ended up being exactly what I needed.
More importantly, it has continued to look and function just as well more than a year later.
How It's Held Up After More Than a Year
One of the reasons I feel comfortable recommending this tray is how well it has held up.
Bathrooms are humid environments, and I've owned plenty of products that looked great at first but didn't age well.
After more than a year of daily use, this tray still looks nearly the same as when I purchased it.
I haven't noticed any mold, warping, discoloration, or suspicious staining. The manufacturer claims the bamboo surface is waterproof, and while I can't test that claim scientifically, my experience has been positive.
For a product that spends its life in a bathroom, that's been reassuring.
How I've Used It
For more than a year, this tray has sat above our toilet holding extra supplies.
Most often, I've used it for:
Extra toilet paper rolls
Bathroom spray
Wipes
Small decorative touches
It's one of those items that doesn't require much thought once it's in place. Everything stays contained, and the bathroom looks more organized without any extra effort.
A Quick Note About the Rubber Feet
The only thing I've noticed over time is that some of the small rubber feet attached to the bottom eventually came loose.
Fortunately, this hasn't affected how I use the tray. It spends most of its time sitting in one place rather than being moved around frequently.
The tray itself remains sturdy and stable.
More Versatile Than I Expected
Although I purchased this specifically for the bathroom, I could easily see it being useful in other rooms.
The simple design would work well on:
A kitchen counter
A coffee station
A bedroom dresser
An entryway table
A home office desk
In fact, now that we've moved into a different apartment with more space, I'm considering upgrading my above-the-toilet storage. If I do, this tray won't be leaving our home.
I'll simply find another place to use it.
Final Thoughts
This isn't a dramatic home makeover product.
It's a simple bamboo tray.
But sometimes those are the purchases that end up being the most worthwhile.
More than a year later, it's still helping keep our bathroom organized, still looks great, and still fits the cozy, natural style I enjoy throughout our home.
For anyone looking for a simple storage solution that doesn't add visual clutter, this has been a purchase I never regretted.
Some of the most-loved baby products in our home weren't the biggest purchases, but the little things that helped keep our newborn comfortable every day. From soothing dry skin to clearing tiny noses and creating sweet bonding moments, these are the products that became part of our everyday routine during those precious first months.
When I decided to switch away from aerosol dry shampoo, I fell down a research rabbit hole comparing ingredients, reviews, and formulas. After searching for a non-aerosol option with a more natural ingredient list that also fit comfortably into a home shared with my pets, I found one I've been happily using for the past year and a half.
I've used plastic shower poufs for as long as I can remember, but while trying to reduce plastic around our home, I decided to give a natural Egyptian loofah a try. It turned out to be one of my favorite simple swaps. Here's what I've loved, what I learned, and why I don't see myself going back.
After years of relying on a traditional coffee maker, we found ourselves returning to French press coffee as part of our journey to reduce plastic in our home. After losing our cat Shadow, I started looking for new ways to bring a little extra enrichment into Marshmallow's life. What began as a simple purchase for one cat ended up becoming a favorite spot for our entire household. Nearly a year later, it's still one of the most-used pet items in our home.

I bought these bowls because I needed extras and thought they looked cute. What I didn't expect was for my senior cat to completely change a feeding habit she'd had for years. If your cat leaves food scattered around the bowl, this might be worth a closer look.
When I became a mom, I started looking for ways to simplify everyday life. What began as a search for a gentler hand soap turned into one of the easiest household decisions we've made. After several repurchases, this is the hand soap my partner specifically asks for, and it's one less decision I have to think about when restocking our home.
We've been ordering this rabbit recipe from Chewy for years, and it's still one of the most exciting treats we give our pets. Here's why Mugen, Marshmallow, and Nyx come running every time a can is opened.
I used Evereden Golden Belly Serum throughout the majority of my first pregnancy after initially starting with pure maracuja oil. While I can't personally speak to its stretch mark claims, I can share my experience with the ingredients, scent, oiliness, and how it helped keep my growing belly comfortable and less itchy.
As a first-time mom, choosing where my baby would sleep felt overwhelming. Wanting the closeness of co-sleeping without the risks, I decided to try the Baby Delight Beside Me™ Dreamer Bassinet.
